| Getting Involved |
| The first thing Habitat asks for from any individual or group that shows an interest is to pray. Pray for the organization, the leaders who guide it, the volunteers who give of themselves and the families who are in need of simple decent housing. |

From a one-time commitment to the sponsorship of an entire home, there are many ways for you to get involved with Habitat for Humanity of Osceola County and make a substantial impact in your community. You may choose to fully sponsor a house through a contribution, or by providing the materials, labor, services and funds necessary to complete a project. Since 1996, we have formed many successful partnerships with corporations, community organizations, and church groups. Of course, we will assist you through the entire process. If you are interested by the possibility of home sponsorship or co-sponsorship, please email us at info@habitatosceola.com and we will gladly consult with you about all of the exciting opportunities available in Osceola County. |

| Or maybe you just want to come out to work with us on our construction sites. Volunteer labor is the lifeblood of Habitat for Humanity. Anyone over 16 years of age can work on a Habitat home. All that is required is a willingness to work hard. On any given workday, Habitat volunteers include a full spectrum of experience, from professional tradesmen to first-timers who have never set foot on a construction site. In fact, in many cases we have found that volunteers with little to no experience have completed tasks as well as (if not better than) professionals doing the same job. Why? Because properly trained volunteers are careful and patient and tend to want everything to fit together just right. It may take them a little longer, but that is an investment in time we are willing to make. |

If you would like to schedule a corporate or church group day or if you yourself are interested in coming out to help build a Habitat home, take a moment to fill out our volunteer form. Since we work almost exclusively with volunteers, Saturday is our primary workday, but we can make arrangements for other days. If you would like to come out during the week, please call our office at 407-943-3669. Also, please remember that it is much easier for us to schedule groups than individuals, so, if possible, round up some friends, colleagues, or neighbors and submit a group application. Regardless, we will do our best to get you out to a Habitat worksite in the near future.
